Handouts are a good means for your listeners to reflect on your message, recap your thoughts and follow up on the given information. The charts can simplify complex situations or can contain additional information such as data, sources etc. which you did not verbally explain in detail. Handouts are not only an effective marketing tool, they are an extension of the presentation and your company. Always keep your Corporate Identity in mind!
Handout material must not necessarily be a print-out of your complete presentation. It can contain only parts, be only a summary or it can be something different which should however be connected to your message. Think about a poster summing up your ideas or a notepad with your company logo. Freebies are always welcome and jolt the memory when seen!
